The husky puppy can be closely compared to the alaskan malamute. Their characteristics are usually white paws and legs, some prominent facial markings, and a white tail tip. When spotting a husky puppy, you will typically see them as black, red, grey, or white.
The eyes of a husky puppy are either blue, brown, or some type of mixture. The uniqueness is in the shade of blue where you could see a very light to a very dark blue and everything in between. The American Kennel club has accepted all variations of colors eyes for the siberian husky.
A husky puppies coat is thicker than almost any other breed of dog. They have 2 layers...a dense undercoat for severe weather condistions, and a longer top coat that helps reflect heat in the summer time. The husky can survive temperatures as low as -60 celcius.
